Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation methods of old-fashioned shooting game Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them through it’s “free-form docking” method. Based on the alignment of three vessels, the flagship Yamato (Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi) can use different tactics. Docking, splitting, and refitting the vessels when necessary is essential for defeating the massive armies of Mandler.
