Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s surprising and exciting return to the island is an expansion of his legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were co-developed by Lucasfilm Games.

It’s been years that Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a battle of wits with his adversary, the zombie pirate LeChuck. Guybrush’s true love Elaine Marley has turned his interest away from his government. Guybrush has become unfulfilled and adrift, not having found an answer to his Secret of Monkey Island. Young pirate leaders with Captain Madison have shuffled the old guard out of power. Melee Island has taken a change in direction, and famous businessman Stan has been incarcerated due to “marketing-related crime”.

Chat with old acquaintances and new ones on the familiar islands that are now under dangerous new leadership. Take to the seas, and discover the new and unknown while you navigate your way out of tough predicaments. Guybrush is a mix of clever puzzles and absurd challenges. Guybrush will be able to achieve glory through the clever way he responds.
